Miracle
Our dog Samson was not a walker he was a puller. We have tried literally every product on the market, a few months back while walking him my wife took a tumble due to his pulling. She found this I ordered it and it worked immediately I highly recommend if you have a puller.

Finally holding the powerful pup
We owned a different brand of head leash obtained from the pet store but it was always confusing and difficult to put on. Now the dog knows to sit and allow us to place this one on with one swoop and clip. He’s so excited when I pick up the leash.Best is I am no longer getting dragged all over the neighborhood and in fear of falling due to his sudden jerks (these shepherd/lab mixes are strong!) He has learned to heel at my side, follow commands, and explore within reason all thanks to this little leash investment.
Was skeptical now ecstatic!
Unbelievable, I ordered this for my 5 yr. old Pitbull mix who is about 65 lbs, and incredibly strong. She is-was impossible to walk. She is known to our local vet and groomer for her strength. It was literally dangerous to walk her. Enter Halti Optifit. I had put it on her twice, she tried to paw it off, but a few-no leave it-was all it took. I gave her treats while putting it on. Today was the third time I put it on and she didn’t give me a problem at all. The instructions said not to use a heavy leash, so I used the one I have for my 15 lb. Cavalier. I was a little unsure. Then we went for a walk. She could not pull at all! This works! She got to a point that she didn’t even try to pull. The she saw a bird on the ground nearby, she lunged, or tried to, it just pulled the leash taught, not even jerking me. It’s comfortable, doesn’t hurt her, she can chew, and it doesn’t get in her eyes. Now to tell you, I have RA, have limited use of my hand, and I can now handle and control her. This product should be advertised on sites that provide products for disabled dog owners. Amedium size fit her, and the adjustability is terrific.

Great product
My dog is definitely head-strong (husky/shephard) and this has helped redirect him and reduce his pull. It’s not going to fix a strong puller by itself or be a ‘magic cure’ for most dogs but it is a very useful training aid. The construction is well made, soft nose and I like the extra security of being able to connect it to the collar. My dog can take it off his nose by himself, but only does so after the walks and can’t get the whole thing off on his own. He’s not a huge fan, but it helps to keep him under control. Not magic, but helps.2023 update… I love this thing! After 2 years of heavy use, still going strong. Only problem is the price has doubled! A family member ‘requisitioned’ one so I’m down to just one and foster so use it a lot. I purchased another brand (still not as cheap as this one was) and it is sooo low quality in comparison! I recently started fostering a hound who has a serious nose and pull instinct and tried many different combos (no pull harness, front strap, martingale, etc) and this one did work like magic! I still double clip her just in case, but control the nose control the hound! 1 week with this and she walks on a loose leash (unless she smells something but is controllable!)! The other one was so low quality in comparison I’m just going to bite the bullet and order another one of this brand vs trying for something else that wont compare… the details are great!
